Airtel slashed Broadband Tariffs

It is now offering 1 Mbps speed at Rs. 1699 and 512 Kbps speed at Rs. 1099 as well as exciting additional free VAS bundles worth upto Rs. 500 every month. The free VAS bundle includes services like Unlimited gaming on Games on Demand, Anti-Virus software PC Secure, Airtel Speed on Demand and Online Desktop. This offers Airtel broadband customers across the country greater access to ‘true and rich’ broadband – for example customers currently experiencing 512 Kbps can double their broadband speed to 1 Mbps by paying an additional Rs. 100 only.

Freedom 1699 for 1 Mbps

Micromax to provide 3G Data Cards for ONGC employees across India

micrmax data cardMicromax & ONGC have entered into a national agreement for sale and distribution of Micromax 3GData Cards to the employees of ONGC across India under a special scheme. It is a standard USB interface - supporting USB 2.0 Full Speed. It also supports Micro SD Card Slot for usage as pen drive too. Besides WIN200/ XP/ VISTAand it also supports MAC OS.

Micromax has launched both the HSDPA and the HSUPA variants of the data cards in the USB form factor. It  product weighs less than 50 grams, comes in a very small form factor like USB pen-drive and can be used along with both the notebook aswell as in desktop. The product supports certain version of Windows as well as MACoperating systems and Micromax will be releasing the support for limited versions of Linux operating system shortly.

Virgin Mobile youth customers who do not want a cap on their data usage can now surf the internet anywhere with Virgin Mobile’s unlimited monthly data plan of Rs 801.
This is the most economical package available in the market offering a speed of upto 153 kbps. vLink is aimed at meeting the wireless connectivity needs of Indian youth who own laptops as well as PCs.

vLink comes with a starter kit of Rs. 99 which includes free unlimited promo data usage time of 30 days. Two tariff plans are available for vLink: The Rs. 801 monthly plan provides the user unlimited data usage per month, with no hidden costs or commitments. On purchase of vLink, the user gets the benefit of this plan for free in the first month of usage. The second plan of Rs. 349 offers the user benefit of rolling over unutilized balance to the next month. This is the first unutilized balance roll over facility for data usage in the Indian market. This plan comes at a  25p/min hour rate between 8AM to 10PM and a 13p/min hour rate between 10PM to 8AM
