BlackBerry lovers have just started to get a taste of the new BlackBerry OS 7 and a day before yesterday RIM had unveiled its further plans for the OS as it showed off the BlackBerry OS 10.
So the question most of you having in your mind would be, can the devices with OS 7 be update to OS 10? Well frankly you can’t.

So there were loads and loads of people who were desperately waiting for Research in Motion (RIM) to showcase to the world what it has in store with its next generation of OS called the BlackBerry 10 and here we are!
Last night at the BlackBerry World Conference, RIM tried to woo everyone with the showcasing of the new OS and they just succeeded.

Research In Motion has today unveiled the BlackBerry 10 platform at the BlackBerry World conference in Orlando, Florida. The BlackBerry maker has also released a developer toolkit for software development.
The developers can use the SDK to create apps with C/C++ using Qt. The Native SDK for BlackBerry 10 also has various APIs which will give developers access to core device features and a range of BlackBerry application services, such as Push and Payment services. The SDK will also have Cascades, which is a powerful native application development toolset that allows developers to easily build visually stunning applications without having to write complex, low-level graphics code.

RIM launched its latest BlackBerry Curve 9220 in India last week and we got a chance to get our hands on the smartphone. Besides the contemporary BlackBerry design, the handset has a better battery, FM radio and also a convenient BBM key.

BlackBerry Curve 9320 spotted in the wild

Earlier this month, Research In Motion announced the Global launch of the low-end BlackBerry Curve 9220 in India and now the unannounced BlackBerry Curve 9320 which is also planned to be released very soon has been spotted in Vietnam. We have seen the device leak before but this time the pictures are much clear.
The BlackBerry Curve 9320 is slightly better than the 9220 when specs are concerned as the device is a 3G variant of the 9220 and also has a better 3 MP camera in contrast to the standalone 2 MP camera on the 9220.

The new update for the BlackBerry OS 7.1 has been leaked and is unofficially available for various BlackBerry devices including the Bold 9900, Bold 9930, Torch 9810, Torch 9860, Torch 9850 and the Curve 9370.
The update is safe to install manually, but it is unofficial as of yet, so it’s better to make necessary backups and take proper precautions. The new OS will obviously be bringing more stability and to the handsets so if you are pretty sure, you can update your handset to the latest OS 7.1.

RIM has launched the latest Curve smartphone in India which is the Curve 9220 in India. It is the global launch and it will be available in India first from the 19th of April.
The new Curve 9220 will come with the new BB OS 7.1, a 2MP camera at the back, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, FM radio and a large battery of 1450mAh.
