Bharti Airtel has today announced that the company has brought its huge Hello Tunes collection online thus making it one of the largest collection of Hello Tunes in India. Now Airtel mobile customers can conveniently enjoy discovering, browsing, sampling, buying and even gifting of Hello Tunes and Value Added Services (VAS) online.
Now Airtel users who wish to find a particular song that they would love to set as their Hello Tunes don’t have to struggle much to find a particular song by calling out a number and still not find it. Because now users can visit http://airtel.in/hellotunes and search for the song they want from the huge collection available online, select it and just set it. Simple!

Airtel now allows you to personalise your Hello Tunes with its all new ‘Name Tunes’ service which allows Airtel mobile customers to personalize their Hello Tune with their own name. With this, Airtel mobile customers can stamp their caller tune with their own identity by following a simple process that allows them to search and set their name as their Hello Tune.
To avail the “Your Name Your Tune” service, Airtel mobile customers need SMS NT <space> <First Name> to 543215 (TollFree). After that the customers need to choose from search results of names that are presented and set the same as Hello Tune.

Bharti Airtel has just enabled a new service for pre-paid mobile customers in India. Airtel pre-paid customers can now recharge their mobile phones online at www.airtel.in/prepaidrecharge through net-banking. This is in addition to debit card and credit card payment options that were launched earlier.
Airtel prepaid mobile customers need to go to www.airtel.in and click on prepaid mobile under recharge prepaid tab or just type www.airtel.in/prepaidrecharge in their browser. Upon visiting this recharge page, customers will be able to recharge their Airtel prepaid accounts in three steps.

Airtel offers unlimited BBM service at Rs. 129 to its Postpaid users

A few hours back, Vodafone announced the 'Go BBM Service' Plan, offering its BlackBerry using Unlimited BBM access at Rs. 129 for a month. And now its Airtel who has announced the similar plan for its BlackBerry Subscribers. Expected!
Airtel will offer unlimited BBM access at Rs. 129 per month along with Free 300 National SMSs. Airtel currently offers this plan only to its Postpaid BlackBerry subscribers.

Bharti Airtel, India's leading telecommunication company has been awarded the 'Telecom Centre of Excellence (TCOE) Award' for the year 2011. Milind Deora and Sachin Pilot presented the award to Jagbir Singh, Director Network Services Group – Bharti Airtel in national capital. This award is presented to the service provider with customer focus for best delivery of Network Services.
The evaluation criteria is extensive but mainly concentrated on the Network Quality of service KPIs, Network Coverage, Product Innovation and Network Bench-marking processes based on network parameters and customer voice.

In a bid to serve its users better and provide value for money service Airtel has introduces 2 new Rate Cutters, RC 39 and RC 154 for its users in Chennai and Tamil Nadu telecom circle.
With RC 39, Airtel users will be able to make all STD calls to their loved ones all over India at just 30p/minute. This includes calls to both on-net and off-net numbers. The validity of this RC is 30 days.

Airtel has announced that their mobile customers in India will now potentially be able to access Twitter on their mobile phones for free till 1st March 2012. This limited period Twitter offer by Airtel and is a first-of-its-kind initiative in India which allows customers to enjoy free access to Twitter through web browsers by visiting http://mobile.twitter.com.
Airtel users can sign up without activating GPRS for Twitter or subscribe to SMS updates of specific users (via short code 53000) on their mobile phones free for the period of this offer.
